Job Title – Sales Consultant (Kitchen Industry)


Major job tasks and responsibilities:


- Maintaining and managing the growth of existing client base

- Developing new clients in the kitchen industry

- Create a relationship with all design consultants working in each kitchen specialist showroom

- Product training to design consultants

- Following up of all quotes generated for the area

- Review Actual versus Projected sales targets on a weekly basis, focusing on stock shortfalls and developing - strategic plans to assist in achieving projected targets

- Co-ordinating in-store SMEG displays

- Negotiate co-operative advertising with strategic kitchen dealers

- Preparation and working of shows, co-ordinate marketing and attend kitchen dealer evenings

Sales administration

- Stock takes

- Achieve monthly sales targets

- Communicating with the office and dealers regarding distribution of stock

- Co-ordination deliveries with dispatch department (Warehouse)

- Demonstrating products to consumers in SMEG showroom, kitchen dealers and design consultants, promotions and product knowledge

- Effectively manage sell-through and sell-out in the kitchen specialist sales channel

- Follow up on after sales service issues

Weekly reporting to management as per requirement


Key requirements for this position include, but is not limited to:


- Have experience within the kitchen industry (at least 3 years)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Attention to detail

Time management skills
